gjjohnson Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 I was trying to get the Marriott San Mateo, so I started bidding 4* San Mateo at $50. I expected that bid to be rejected, so I added SFO and increased the bid to $60. Again, no luck. I added South San Francisco and increased the bid to $65 and was again rejected. I finally added Cathedral Hill and increased the bid to $68 and won the SFO Hyatt Regency.
thereuare Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 Congratulations on your win!I assume you were also fine with the Airport zone in addition to San Mateo? If not, you could have added your re-bid zones before addding the SFO zone in order to try and target San Mateo... but if price was the most important factor, and both were acceptable, i understand why you added SFO first.Thank you for sharing it with the board. I've stayed at this Hyatt a few years back and it was a very nice property, imo. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Enjoy your stay.
