USED BB'S PRICELINE LINK

BID $45 REJECTED

REBID $48 ACCEPTED

MAY 16-19 2008...THIS IS A HOLIDAY WEEKEND IN CANADA

OFFER PRICE PER NIGHT $48.

SUB TOTAL $144.

TAXES AND SERVICE $28.14

TOTAL $172.14

BOOKED ANOTHER ROOM FOR A RELATIVE AND WAS ACCEPTED @48 AGAIN

BUT I HAD TO WAIT 24 HOURS AS PRICELINE SAID IT WAS A DUPLICATE BID

WHY WOULD THEY NOT ALLOW ME TO BID AGAIN IF MY BID WAS ACCEPTED?

Congratulations on your win(s) and thank you for sharing them with the board.

My guess is this is the explanation for your rejected bid:

When you tried to place the bid for the second room you only selected the first zone, which did have a rejected bid within the previous 24 hours. If you would have selected the first zone and the re-bid zone (ie- the same combination as your accepted bid at $48) that bid would have gone thru as there was no rejected bid with that zone combination.

Does that make sense?

Thanks again for the post and for using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding.

Enjoy your stay.
