Samoa Murphy Posted March 27, 2008 Report Posted March 27, 2008 I just thought I'd post a failed bid attempt of $60 for the Lake Union Area. Obviously I was looking for the Lake Union Residence Inn... maybe I'll wait a couple of weeks and try again.
Samoa Murphy Posted April 16, 2008 Author Report Posted April 16, 2008 Well, it appears the odds of getting the Residence Inn for the $60 going rate are looking pretty bleak. I've increased my bid up to $70, but I think I'm too far off. The days of $60 nights at this property may be a thing of the past (or just temporarily out of reach for the summer.)HOTWIRE has a newly listed 3* hotel in south lake union, (nonsmoking, comp breakfast, etc.) that appears to be the Residence Inn. The Hotwire price is $180 per night. ooof! I guess I'll find somewhere else in Seattle. At $150 per night (HOTWIRE minus 15% estimated discount on PRICELINE) I think there are better deals elsewhere.and yes i used the bb link.
thereuare Posted April 17, 2008 Report Posted April 17, 2008 Do you need to be in the Lake Union area or were you looking there thinking it would be less expensive than other Seattle zones? What is your maximum budget for this stay? Is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
