diana Posted May 31, 2004 Report Share Posted May 31, 2004 I started bidding at $35 hoping to get the Sheraton Gateway since I have a meeting in an office building across the street from there, however that was rejected.I added Santa Monica/Marina del Rey and increased bid to $36. I was shocked that I won the Marriott. I haven't seen that win in years! Sometimes it's nice to stay at a hotel other than where the meeting is being held (or a non-convention hotel) so that you can 'escape' at the end of the day. :) Thanks for posting your win and giving us yet another hotel to add to our lists!Enjoy your stay.
