This is a continuation from my earlier post where I split my bid for a 4 night stay in SF. This Friday and Saturday night were so much more expensive than what I've seen on this board. I've been going up on my bidding a few dollars every day and finally hit it today.

Thanks for your post Budman. I have been trying for almost the same dates 5/15-5/19 with no luck yet. Will take your info into consideration. Wonder if rates are normally that high, or just something in town that weekend. We are going for the 'Bay to Breakers' race. Thanks again for the heads up!

Now I know why it's next to impossible to find a low rate for May 16-18th! The 'Bay to Breakers Race'. I looked it up and it looks like loads of fun!
