highflier Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 Emboldened by the news on this board, I will attempt to get a hotel in Edinburgh. Before I begin bidding, I hope for some information. As I look at the successful bid options on the board, they don't match the Priceline hotels that you can get...is this normal, or have they changed? Looks like I can get good deals, and would like the Apex International Hotel. Any word would be great. Thanks, Michael

highflier Posted March 25, 2008 Author Report Posted March 25, 2008 Yes, I booked one stay, but I am trying to book another stay...but I also want an edinburgh stay on the 7th and 8th for two rooms. Looks like I can bid only one area in London at a time, but I can bid Edinburgh. Thanks for all your help, and the clarification of the click through your link...what can I say, it worked! Still need some guidance on Edinburgh tho...
thereuare Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 This is for the City Center zone? What is your maximum bid for this stay? (April 7-9) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
highflier Posted March 25, 2008 Author Report Posted March 25, 2008 really depends on the quality of hotel. based on the priceline 50% off ideal, $151 is the quoted price for the Apex City, which I would like. However, if the only offered hotel is the Novotel Edinburgh, listed on Expedia for 149, i would really like to pay 80 dollars. I will need two rooms. What do you think?
thereuare Posted March 26, 2008 Report Posted March 26, 2008 Set your maximum bid at an amount that you'd still be happy if you received the least wanted hotel in the zone. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
