RedmondFrank Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 Fitness, Laundry, Internet "best value"Could they have bumped Club Quarters up by .5 star? Thanks!
thereuare Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 That is exactly what they've done... the Club Quarters Downtown is now 3.5* rated.Don't know if you have a need/reason to stay downtown, but there is a similarly priced 3.5* hotel in the MTC zone offered on HOTWIRE, which may be more centrally located than this for the 'typical' tourist, but again, not sure of your needs or purpose of this trip. I haven't tried to ID it, but will if this is an option for you. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. RedmondFrank Posted March 23, 2008 Author Report Posted March 23, 2008 thereuare, thanks for your reply... Midtown could be better...as for ID, the current hotel+car package at 4 days $585 per person for 3.5* Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-speed Internet Access...naming the Hudson... so the idea would be that's the match for the 3.5* $214 property?
thereuare Posted March 24, 2008 Report Posted March 24, 2008 Not all hotels which participate in the "opaque" product also participate in the "vacation" product, and vice-versa.The amenties above match what has been reported for both the Hudson and the Novotel, so either of those would be our best guess. The Hudson apepars much more frequently, although that doesn't say anything about which one you're seeing on this particular search. The Hudson gets decent reviews, except for their notoriously small rooms (been called "cruiseship small" if you've ever taken a cruise)... so you have to consider if a small room would affect your stay. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
