MissPoofy
Got this deal via Hotwire a couple of weeks ago. Very happy that I didn't get stuck at the Worst Western Whitehouse Inn. Either 52 or 54 dollars, I forgot. Not too much of a savings because this motel is going for 59.95 a night on the official hotel website.Oh well. 6 dollars saved is 6 dollars. Times 3.I did find it misleading that the HoJo website claims there is an amusement park right across the street. Unless in the past year they've added a ferris wheel and a roller coaster, I would hardly call this gas station with a driving range attached to it an "amusement park". Couple bars in walking distance (right across the street) and if memory serves me correctly, a pool hall and discount movie theater are about a 2 minute walk away. Bowling alley about 2 miles away. Just visiting family anyway, so the local Olive Garden will suffice. The Cat from Chicagoland,Miss Poofy Link to comment

MissPoofy
I will next time! Don't be mad at me, I booked this before I even knew about this website. Next time I see a Hotwire deal, I'll post it here first so everyone can play the game of trying to figure out which hotel it it before I book. It's a fun game! Cheers! The Cat from Chicagoland,Miss Poofy Link to comment

MissPoofy
I looked at my account and my hotel has a pool and a fork and knife. So I guess if there is anybody out there wanting a hotel in Bangor, you now know the two star is the Howard Johnson's. Link to comment
