Priceline Hotel: March 22-29, 2008

:) Help. My mother and I are going to New York City 3-22 through 29, 2008. She isn't real mobile (can't walk very far-block or so). Trying to Priceline and get someplace New York City. Not real picky, but kitchenette or airport shuttle would be awesome. Closer to transportation seems important. We have a Hotels.com reservation for EAst Rutherford, with a bus right outside the door. Would like to be able to find something closer to downtown. She is concerned about being able to get back to our place in East Rutherford for a rest during the day and the travel time. Anyway, been trying $170 or so and still can't find anything through priceline. Think I only looked 4* for $170. Any advise, suggestions?

Where did you see the information regarding the Sheraton having a bus right outside the door? Last i had heard the NJ Transit no longer stops there and you need to take the hotel's shuttle bus to catch the bus.
