Jason's Storm Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 Whenever I do PRICELINE or HOTWIRE, I get the, "did I do something wrong?", feeling after its all over. Only after looking at it several times, I get over it. Anyone else get that feeling?~JS Jason's Storm- Making one killer deal after another. With something other than a machete to the head. pterrell Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 Yes!! All the time. Unfortunatley, sometimes I did make a mistake. Usually it's realizing that I could have gotten a better rate directly booking the hotel using my AAA or Entertainment Card discounts.
Kozachka Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 That's why I overinvest into researching prices upfront. And if possible try to book a cancellable rate before bidding. It gives me time to shop for the best deal, too. Learned this trick here, on this board.
rc408 Posted April 25, 2008 Report Posted April 25, 2008 Definitely! Usually when I'm doing multiple re-bids or booking for more than one trip at a time. I usually freak out about whether I entered the right dates or hotel class.
jostuckey Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 Now, I always double-check the request details before clicking the button.I learned my lesson the hard-way .. putting in the wrong dates when my bid got accepted.I do not want to repeat my mistake, especially there is no undo.
