Priceline Hotel: French Quarter hotel for April 5, 2008 thru April 8, 2008

I want to bid on a French Quarter hotel for April 5, 2008 thru April 8, 2008. I'd prefer a 4 or 3 star, but would also go lower. I'm looking at bidding no more than $80 per night. I'd also entertain the idea of the Central Business District. I've never been to New Orleans before and am travelling to hang out in the French Quarter area. Are the CBD hotels close to the French Quarter?

PRICELINE no longer uses a CBD zone... the zone adjacent to the FQ is the Downtown-Convention Center zone... did you want to include this in your bidding?

If so, did you want to try first for a hotel in the FQ only or a 4* hotel in either the FQ or Downtown zone(s)?

I would like to stay in the French Quarter. The higher the star rating the better, but I would be willing to go down to a 3 or 2.5. Realistically, how much would it take to get a winning bid in the French Quarter?
