Priceline Hotel: NYC 5/16-5/20

Dear all,

I am new to the forum, I was trying to book a room in NYC with Priceline from the 5/16-5/20 and this has been my result so far,

Bidded for a 4* Hotel in all NYC areas, except airports/Long Island and Brooklyn, my maximum bid declined has been 225$.

Bidded for a 3* Hotel in the same areas, my maximum bid declined has been 155$.

What should I do next besides obviously going up in price? Is 225$ still low for a 4* in Priceline? Are my dates to busy in NYC? Should I wait longer?
