DDawson Posted May 29, 2004 Report Posted May 29, 2004 I'm on a roll here, batting 2 for 2 today. First one was in London and this one in San Francisco.Hotwire was showing prices of $65.00 for 4* properties at the airport, but as previously mentioned (by another poster) the golf icon was throwing me off. Since $35.00 seemed to be the magic number lately for the Hyatt on Priceline, I thought I would give it a try. All bid's won at this price were for the weekend, so I did not think I would have much luck at this price for a midweek night. First bid at $35.00 was accepted. $45.80 with taxes and service fees.I've saved so much money today, I'm off to the mall to shop for my trip.

I like the way you think... makes a lot of sense to me!Have a great trip, and happy shopping!DeltaPurser :)PS: Just as a reminder for your next bidding adventure in SFO... There is at least one free rebid area that you can use to lowball your starting bid next time.
