2 night post cruise (AOS 6/6) stay. Thank you for all the postings that made me wait until 13 days before stay. Hotwire prices for same propoery varied $147- $160 since I began checking on 3/16/04.

I believe this is in the Rio Grande-Humacao zone, but if you could confirm this so that we know we got it right it would be appreciated.

That's correct. It was in the Rio Grande-Humacao selection zone.

Maybe the reply should go in the hotel ratings area, but I'm wondering how you liked the hotel.

Did you participate in any of the hotel's activites? I'm wondering how much it would cost to use the water sports activites in the area.

Is the resort a place one could enjoy spending the vacation?

I think I see this on Hotwire now for $166 per night for mid-July. That's when I want to go.

Msplichal did post a review of the WESTN RIO MAR REVIEW.

Don't know if you are going pre-cruise or just for vacation, but generally speaking this hotel is not near the port.
