canam Posted March 16, 2008 Report Posted March 16, 2008 Hi all, I want to take my Fiance and her 3 boys (8,9, and12) to Manhattan for a weekend Getaway. We will be flying into LGA . I havent traveled with children in many many years. Any suggestions what zone to bid considering we will be with 3 young ones?I am looking for 2 rooms and would like 5/16-5/18 but could be flexible on the date. Thanks

canam Posted March 21, 2008 Author Report Posted March 21, 2008 I guess 3 or better . I havent really considered the budget to closely yet I just dont want to pay more than I have to. I just don't know the zones there very well. This may not be the correct forum but thank you all for any advice
thereuare Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 You'll need to do a little research first and then we'll try to help you find the best deal for your stay.I'd start by read our Priceline NYC Zones thread (Times Square has recently been broken into it's own area, but other than that the zones remain the same). For the typical visitor, all the midtown zones generally work pretty well as far as being close to mass transit which makes it easy to get around the city. Then use our BetterChecker to get an idea of rates for your particular stay and figure out your best deal. From there you can figure out your maximum bid (based upon some percent of your best deal without the opaque suppliers) and we'll be able to advise of a bidding strategy for you to follow.
