yellowlab Posted March 15, 2008 Report Posted March 15, 2008 Hi all,We are looking for a 4* hotel in Paris, preferably Champs-Elysees, for 12 Apr-20 Apr.Latest bid is $130 which was rejected. What is a reasonable amount to expect to pay? Are there other neighborhoods/districts that you can recommend that might be cheaper? Thanks!
thereuare Posted March 15, 2008 Report Posted March 15, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding! Not sure if it would work for your own plans (read: doublecheck to see if this is a zone you'd be happy with) but many bid the Latin Quarter zone. I was in Paris last year and wish i had taken a the Hilton Eiffel Tower deal that was offered on HOTWIRE vs. the hotel i ultimately booked directly (which we were not happy with), and i would look to stay near the Eiffel Tower if/when i return to Paris, but many say the PRICELINE zone is a bit too far away from the area(s) they prefer. What is the best deal you're able to find for this stay outside of the 'opaque' providers? What is your maximum bid?If you let us know the above, in addition to which zone(s) you're willing to accept, we can suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
