Recently I bid on priceline for 4* in Time Square, Theatre District zone,I got Millennium Broadway Hotel for 200 for my 3/28-30 trip. However, I saw somebody on tripadvisor.com said he/she won bid at $125 for the exact hotel.Does that mean I overpaid for 75 per nite. :)

I will have another NYC trip coming up from 4/10-4/12, so if anyone can advise me about the price should I try for 4* in MT.

Thanx lots~~ :)

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Please post the details of your win as a NEW TOPIC so that others on this board will be aware of it and it will also appear in our Priceline and Calendar of Wins.

The short answer to your question: Rates are date specific, so occupancy (and rates) may have been higher at the time of your purchase than the date(s) that the other user reported paying.

I will have another NYC trip coming up from 4/10-4/12, so if anyone can advise me about the price should I try for 4* in MT.
If/when you're ready to bid, continue this thread and let us know the zone(s) you're willing to accept and the amount of your maximum bid and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow... one which ensures that you won't overbid.
