I was looking at June 12th arrival and hotwire has the 2.5* Suite in Downtown for

Over on valuetrips.com the Amerisuites is $69 for this date. Just wondering if my math is on.

134-69 = 65 x2 = 130 DD refund, net cost is $4 plus $20.95 taxes fees or $24.95 total

Can someone verify if this seems correct?

Looks good to me.

Just make sure that ValueTrips actually has the hotel for that rate on your nite. The prices on their website are not always available... only way to be certain is to email them with your date(s) and get the reply.

Good advice from our leader! After you make the reservation with ValueTrips & get an email confirmation make sure you have the telephone number for Valuetrips to give to Hotwire so they can confirm the rate (expedite things). :)

I emailed and received a $75 quote for Saturday($69 is only Mon-Fri). So the new potential DD is $136(as of today)-75 = 61 x 2 or a dd of $122. Net cost is $14 & 20.95 tax or $34.95.

I'll post if I go for it.
