poogie Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 2 Rooms, One night July 2...Fitness Center, Restaurant, High Speed Internet Access, Pool(s), Business Center.3.5 of 5 of Trip Advisor, Retail 179.00...Hotwire rate 129.00. Customer favorite, Best Value...Any guesses?
AaronJB Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 The listing would be a match for either the Sheraton or the Intercontinental, but the more likely result would be the Intercon. Don't rely on the "retail value", which is for a "comparable hotel' and not necessarily the hotel in question. If you do decide to book this property, would would greatly appreciate if you could start the purchase by using our HOTWIRE (click the HOTWIRE) link to start your purchase, as it supports the site.If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Overall though, a very good deal for Chicago in the Summer. If it's the Intercontinental, great location and a hotel with a very neat history.
poogie Posted March 4, 2008 Author Report Posted March 4, 2008 Thanks Aaron, I decided to give PRICELINE a shot before grabbing the HOTWIRE for 129.00. I got the Hilton Chicago for 90.00. It seems like a great deal, I hope it's nice. I used the link on this site to access PRICELINE, thanks again!!
AaronJB Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 Excellent deal! The Hilton is a very nice hotel, and it's a fairly short walk through Grant Park to get to the museum campus. The Art Institute and Millennium Park are 6-7 blocks North.Thank you for using the site's PRICELINE link and reporting your win.
thereuare Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 Congratulations on your win!Glad to hear you're happy with the results. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
