petaling Posted March 4, 2008 Report Share Posted March 4, 2008 Opening Bid $65,wrongly entered 1 night stay instead of 2.Accepted for 1 night,then extended to 2 nights also accepted.2 separate chargesMaybe should have started lower!!!!!!Location also not ideal for Convention Centre.How much did extension cost me extra in admin fee???ie 2x 1 night separately vs 2 nights at once? dahammer Posted March 5, 2008 Report Share Posted March 5, 2008 this is a really great deal for the Sheraton, I think this is probably one of the most desireable locations in the whole city. You can walk to many good restaurants and leave the car behind. The Admin fee is minimal, maybe an extra $5-7 or so. If you must know, you can start a new bid for two days together and PRICELINE will calculate the total charges, just don't proceed with the bid. To get to the Pennsylvania Convention Center, you can take the Market-Frankfore Elevated train from 2nd and Market to 11th and Market for $2 each way. Just walk two blocks north from the Sheraton along 2nd street or you can take a cab. Go to www.septa.org for schedules. For deals on parking in the area, go to Philadelphia Parking Authority Olde City. Link to comment
