ntshop Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 I just used Priceline for Nashville, TN a couple of weekends ago. I first searched hotels and locations on other sites plus on Priceline. I did notice that when you just enter the City in the search it only brings up 5 areas to choose from and only even star ratings, no 1/2 stars. This is where I researched the hotels and their ratings so I would know what type of hotels I might be getting. I was wanting to stay in the Opryland Area, so I chose that and searched for hotels in that area and prices. I then decided to place a bid. When I went into the name your price page it brought up 10 choices for the areas of Nashville. I chose Opryland, 3 star. I offered a couple of bids and they were not accepted. I then chose 2.5 stars for the same area. I started at $40 and was rejected. My next offer of $50.00 was accepted the hotel was Hyatt Place. This area is nice with several restaurants, shops and a large mall. Only about 10 miles from the Nashville Airport and Downtown. The Hyatt Place at this location is about 1 yr old. Our room featured 1 king bed, L-shaped sofa that made a bed, wet bar, desk and a 42" LCD TV. Small breakfast area with the common toast, cereal, begals, fruit, etc.
