Priceline Hotel: 4* Las Vegas (Convention Center-UNLV) Renaissance

Was shooting for Golden Nugget since our friends are staying there, but I gambled with the zones a bit (it IS Vegas, afterall). The Renaissance has received good reviews though. It's a bit low-key for Vegas since there's no casino, but that'll probably end up saving me from blowing (all) my money at the tables (again)! Lowest rate I've seen elsewhere is $178 for these dates.

Bid $63 (Fremont) - rejected, counter offer of $109

Added a re-bid zone (Nellis) and re-bid $73 - rejected

Added a re-bid zone (Strip North) and re-bid $83 - rejected

Added a re-bid zone (West of Strip) and re-bid $93 - rejected

Added a re-bid zone (Convention Center) and re-bid $99 - accepted

I was offered to extend the stay (which I declined) - we are planning on 1 more night, but we'll probably move to the strip for that. Used the PRICELINE link through this website. :)

For what it's worth, I just met somebody who had just stayed here and <naturally> i asked him what he thought of the hotel and he thought it was great.
