LilBart Posted February 22, 2008 Report Posted February 22, 2008 This is a newbie post. I need to get a room at the Hyatt Regency at 151 E. Wacker Drive. I would like to use HOTWIRE or Priceline to get that room. I know there is no way to guarantee that is where I will end up, but I want to do all that is possible to get it. Here is my situation:There is a conference I need to attend at the Hyatt Regency in March. The current deals I see where I can guarantee the exact hotel is 199.00. When I plug in the address to get rates without getting the hotel name, I get a result of 124 for a four star within .0 and .7 miles of the requested address (151 E. Wacker). That is 124 is fine by me since it is actually below the group rate (I missed the cut off date) for the conference. HOTWIRE states that the quoted is price is $75.00 off the lowest rate for that hotel - so I think that the hotel I am getting the price for is actually the Hyatt Regency on Wacker.Anyway, long story short, I am just looking for advice on how to do everything I can to make it most likely I will get a room at the Hyatt Regency on Wacker. Any advice is appreciated. The amenities for the listing are"Fitness CenterSpa ServicesBusiness CenterRestaurantsHigh Speed Internet3.5 Trip Adviser ReviewPoints of interest: 1. Water Tower, 2. AaronJB Posted February 22, 2008 Report Posted February 22, 2008 Welcome to the site. :)Without knowing which dates, it is difficult to try and confirm anything, but if you are seeing a 4* in the Mag Mile/Streeterville area with the amenities: fitness, business, internet, restaurant, spa then that would be a likely match for the Hyatt. The retail price may be correct, but don't use Hotwire's "retail price' as a reference, as it is often inaccurate (it is often the rate for a "comparable" hotel)Please use the site's link to HOTWIRE (click the HOTWIRE) to start your purchase. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

thereuare Posted February 23, 2008 Report Posted February 23, 2008 The above is a match for the Hyatt, so that would be our best guess. Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
