Hi,

I have tried for quite a while to get a 4 or 5* hotel in Vegas with the following settings

Check in: 04/28/2007

Check out: 04/29/2007

Maximum bid: 100$

Regions: Northern and southern strip area

I soon realized, that 100$ won't get me a 5* hotel, so I have downgraded the star rating to 4*.

Previous posts show that the 4* Planet Hollywood had successful bids starting at 46 $

Any idea, why I am not successful ? Am I too early ? Or a convention ?

Anyone who knows more ?

Offered 51$ with "South Strip" only ---> REJECTED

Increased offer to 61$ and added "North Strip" and "Fremont St." ---> ACCEPTED

............

I have tried for quite a while now ( about two months) with a maximum budget of 65 dollars (w/o taxes).

Prefered areas were north/south strip and Fremont St.

No successful bid until today ... looks like there's something going on in Vegas at the above dates.

I think people were saying that the price to get planet hollywood is more in the 60's right now. But I think Golden Nugget's minimum accepted bid is 59, as I had 3 different accepted bids there at that price for different dates. You'll love the Nugget though, it's really deluxe. Their pool with the shark tank is really something to see!
