Hotwire Smoke-Free Rooms

I'm sure many have noticed the addition of the 'smoke-free rooms' icon displaying on a number of Hotwire hotels. Does anyone know if this means the entire property is smoke-free? Or does it mean the hotel simply offers smoke free rooms? And finally, does purchasing a hotel with this amenity listed guarantee you a smoke-free room in the event the property has both smoking and non-smoking rooms?

As per HOTWIRE's description:

Guest rooms at this hotel are always smoke-free.

This icon should guarantee you a non-smoking room.

also, in my experience, if you're worried about this that is, just give the hotel a call a day or so after you make the reservation and check the details (including beds, smoking, etc). They'll happily help you if they can.

I find it as an indictator of the property being a Marriot brand. Though Starwood (sheraton) is totally smoke-free as well.
