VegasChick Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 Used the Savingsbarn.com link to book...So just to refresh everyone, I am traveling 3/3-3/8. The first two nights I got for $60 at Golden Nugget. The next two nights I got Luxor for $72. I split my bid because Friday would be the most expensive, and here is how I bid for Friday...Originally tried add a night option on the 72/night, and got countered for 114 or something like that. Today I tried this:Bids of 85, 88, 91... rejected, no counteroffersBid of 95... acceptedLuxor's site is showing 149 for that night. I can get it on savings websites for around 120. The best part is, I split my bid and still ended up with the same hotel. That is what I was hoping for!Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $95.00 Subtotal: $95.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $17.64 Total Charges*: $112.64 I originally booked Monte Carlo at 84/night through priceline before the fire. That was a total of 420.With my new bookings, the total is 359. This just goes to show how an educated priceliner can save. It's a rough week- spring break and huge convention, and I am managing to stay in Vegas for 5 nights in two 4*'s for under 400. I love this site and I love Priceline!
