Hi Everyone and Thanks,

I have never used Priceline before and thought that I would give it a try after reading your info on bidding.

Needed (4 nites) Saturday July 26, 2008 thru July 30, 2008. Selected Copley Place for Area, 4*; bid $90 rejected, added Financial district, $100 rejected. didn't really want the financial district or anything else for area.

Logged out, reopened new window. Bid Copley Place, 4* $112, rejected! Closed Window,

Reopened new window. Same as above bid $125, rejected!

Reopened new window. Same as above bid $135. Priceline came back and said that they would let me bid again without changing anything if I would up the bid by $22 dollars. Just for grins I only raised it by $12, notified me that I had to raise by $22. raised by $22 to bid of $157. Accepted!!

Priceline didn't seem to have a problem with allowing me to continue bidding if I closed the window and reopen another new window and started over. Their cookie new who I was but didn't seem to care.

I'm guessing that the number of days requested could affect the outcome of the bid due to availability. One or two days could be a little easier and cheaper:(
