Priceline Hotel: 4* Las Vegas (South Strip) Luxor

I've been trying every day, up to $70 for these dates with rejections/no counteroffers. I am staying until 3/8, so I also tried all 3 nights up to $75 with rejections. Today I finally got an accepted bid at the Luxor.

I bid using Savingsbarn.com as follows:

3/5-3/8:

60...65...70...75, all rejected

Split my dates...

3/5-3/7:

65... 68... 70... rejected

72: ACCEPTED

Tried the add a night option and got a counteroffer of 104, which I didn't accept. I'll take my chances and bid on the same star zone for another room, even if it's somewhere else.

Luxor is showing rates of 89/night for those dates. For the Friday that I didn't get, they are showing a rate of 149. There is a large convention in town this week, so I'm pretty happy I got a cheaper rate.

I am not a big Luxor fan, but congratulations on your room anyway....It is a good price for that week.

Try the Betterbidding Travelworm link too for your orphan friday night, they sometimes have deals on Vegas Hotels that you can't find on other sites.

I was hoping for Planet Hollywood, but I kind of thought this week might pose a problem. From what I can see on Luxor reviews, I should try to get a tower room. Either way, it's just a party type trip, so we don't really care as long as it is clean and the shower works.
