Priceline Hotel: 4* London (Finsbury-Islington) Hilton Islington

Just a quick post to thank whoever created this site and all the members for helping me get a great hotel deal recently. The site's winning bids list gave me some idea of the hotel types and the price level to bid. As a first time user of Priceline, without these ball park figures I'd have been lost, either bidding too much or getting a hotel type I didn't want. Thanks again for your up-to-date, accurate and honest advice.

Just won this bid for the 4* Hilton Islington in London for $80 plus service and tax. My stay is in April. The bid history is:

Bid $70 for Central London (Regents, Bloomsbury, Marble Arch)

Re-Bid $70 added One more zone (can't remember which one!)

Re-Bid $70 added One more zone (can't remember which one again! Sorry!)

Re-Bid $80 added another zone.

Re-Bid $80 added every zone except airports, Fulham etc... and won Islington.

Very happy with that, my aim was to stay in any Hilton in London. I would have preferred a more central location but the price is great so I can't complain. I'll let you all know how I get on after the stay. Thanks BetterBidding, couldn't have done it without you. :)
