Twocool4u1 Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 Hey All!I'm new to bidding and basically staying at hotels. I have stayed at a couple but that was when I was a kid and my parents did all the work. I'm looking to stay in Downtown Seattle from Feb 15-Feb17, 2008. My price range is about $100 a night including all taxes / fees. 2 adults. We only need 1 bed, no kids or pets. Clean. That's basically the requirements. Optionals would include free internet, breakfast and swimming pool / hot tub, but those are not necessary. I am not sure what kind of star rating to look up. Also I'm not sure if I should post this in the Priceline section as well. Please advise me. Thanks for your help!
thereuare Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding!Few things...1) if a high star rated hotel is available within your budget, are you willing to pay more it or is your goal the least expensive hotel which meets your needs2) priceline and HOTWIRE divide the downtown zone differently. Priceline has one large downtown area which covers both the Pike Place area as well as the Space Needle area... HOTWIRE divides this into two separate zones. Do you have a preference which area you'd like to stay in?3) what is your maximum budget before taxes and fees?Let us know the above and we'll take it from there. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
