Hotwire Hotel: hotwire chicago hotels

Hi All,

I'm looking on hotwire for the dates 2/5 - 8/2008. I'm looking at 3 hotels. Can someone tell me what these hotels are?

1. Best Value - [*]4* hotel in Magnificent Mile/Streetervlle area. Hotwire price $73 per night/ reg price $129.33 ( you save $56.33). Spa services, fitness center, bus center, restaurants.

2. Best Value - 4* hotel in North Mich Ave - Water Tower - Gold coast area. Hotwire price $79 (you save $20). Fitness center, bus center, restaurant, high speed internet.

3. Best Value - 4* hotel in Museum Campus - Mccormick Place. Save 52% - hotwire cost - $72/save $77. Fitness center, restaurant, high speed, pool, bus center. customer favorite!

1. Hyatt Regency Downtown, which is on Wacker by the river.

2. Millennium Knickerbocker.

3. Could be the Hilton Towers or the Hyatt McCormick Place. I wouldn't risk this one, as if it's the Hyatt McCormick Place, that is in the middle of nowhere. Unless you're going to a convention at McCormick Place, I wouldn't recommend staying here. If this was the Hilton, that would be better, but that's still not a great location in the South Loop, either.

If you are interested in the Hyatt, I'd recommend trying to bid for it on Priceline instead. Try bidding for a 4* in the Millennium Park/Loop/Grant Park area, and I'd start bidding at $55 a night. I can't guarantee that $55 will be accepted or it will be the Hyatt if it is, but I'd be shocked if any other hotels accept it. The Hyatt normally does offer low Priceline and Hotwire rates in order to fill its 2,000+ rooms.
