After reviewing the hotels listed/amenities and the area we wanted (Dupont Circle), we felt confident the hotel we were going to get was Hotel Palomar as the descriptions matched EXACT and none of the others worked, which seemed like a no-brainer (as much of a no-brainer as you can get from hotwire!). Well, we were wrong! We got the Hilton Washington & Towers. Our description said nothing about having "Tennis" which is what threw us off as being Hotel Palomar and not the Hilton. This may need to be updated in the pinned list?The tripadvisor reviews of this hotel are less than stellar. I did see a trend of those that paid the standard rate of 250+ were very unhappy while those that got it for around $90/night through hotwire seemed to be more complimentary of the hotel, which I can understand. Anyways, I guess this is what happens when you book a hotel without knowing the name of it first, which I knew was a risk. Who knows, maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised!
