Resort* Rebidding Tip

In bidding a Resort* property today in Las Vegas, I noticed that if I selected a zone for rebid that had a 5* property, Priceline then added 5* as being selected. In other words, zones with a 5* property are *not* free rebid zones for a Resort. If you're bidding resort level, to be safe, only select zones with max 4* level for your rebids.

I read somewhere, just a couple of weeks ago but already can't remember where, something to the effect of "if a bid is rejected for a resort, the resubmit page that PL displays has the 5* option automatically selected and dimmed. If you don't notice it and rebid, you might end up winning a 5* hotel when you really wanted a resort. To avoid this, do not resubmit, but instead start an entirely new bid (in which you add a zone or change something, of course)."
