kajuntraveller
Hi,This will be our family of 5's first visit to DC. I am not sure of the best area to stay. We will have a car. I have booked 2 rooms at the Westin Embassy Row as a backup at $99 each including breakfast buffett and valet parking. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to stay that would be centrally located or should I stick with what I have booked? Link to comment
pterrell
I'm no expert on the DC as I'm planning for my first trip in a couple of weeks. But from what I've learned, you've got a very good deal at the Westin Embassy Row. The lowest price that it's shown up on Priceline is $70. With valet parking at $30, there's your rate... And some reviewers on TripAdvisor say that the breakfast is good, so you've got that. Most reviewers say that the Westin is close to Metro to get you to sights, and that the neighborhood is very active at night, so it's better then a "centrally located" hotel near the sights.
