Hi all,

Thanks for the site.

I just want to report that I wanted to book three rooms for Vegas May 11-14.

I bid $45.00 hoping for PH

I recieved a counter offer of $84.00

Since it was so close to our $80.00 budget, I took it expecting Planet Hollywood.

Turned out to be the Luxor ........................

I used Savingsbarn.com

Thanks to all for posting !!

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Thank you for sharing your winning bid with the board and for using the SavingsBarn.com PRICELINE links to begin your bidding.

If you'd like, you can actually get a few dollars (~$20) on this purchase since the Luxor can be booked direct for these dates for an average of $81.67/nite so you can envoke Priceline's best rate guarantee. Go to Luxor and on the top right of their webpage is a link to promotions. The first offer currently listed is "Luxor MVP Offer" and for your dates the rates are $76, $76, $93... so you'll get the different between this amount ($81.67) and your bid amount ($84)... so it should be aproximately:

$2.33 (different in rates) x 3 nites x 3 rooms = $20.97

If you pursue let us know how it goes.

If successful, maybe you'll be able to parlay that $20 in to $2000 at the tables :)

Thanks for posting... enjoy your stay.
