Erica106 Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Thinking about staying in the southwest area of Austin for this weekend. Does anyone know the hotels available? Priceline shows only 2 star and below hotels, but hotwire shows a 2.5 star. Why the discrepency? I lived in Austin for 6 years (in that area actually) and I know there is a La Quinta and a Holiday Inn Express. Any others or are those the onyl ones? I'm pretty confident I can get one of those for $50 a night (or less!) as hotwire lists them at $106 and $46.
thereuare Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 All hotels reported to the board would be in the Priceline Hotel List. There is no industry standard for star levels, and they are subjective, so each service uses their own rating system. You will often find descrepencies in star ratings for the same hotel between all the major travel sites. If you need help bidding please let us know once your plans are firm and we'll have a closer look. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
