The Hyatt is a giant convention hotel, which is why you do see them on Priceline/Hotwire often, and often with low rates. It would not stand as my favorite hotel in Chicago, certainly, but it's not bad, either - and certainly in a great, central location. For the $200-250 and above it can go for in the busiest times, I'd say absolutely not, but when you're talking under $75 (or even under $100 on a busier day), it's a very good deal. There are automatic check-in machines in the lobby if you don't want to wait in line for chkin.

Hey so newbie question. Do I have to call the hotel to request that I get a non-smoking room? or if I want a King sized bed?

Also, any of you guys successful in getting in-room internet comped?
