Honestleeok Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 Have Never used priceline before and honestly can say that I am afriad to do so. Golden Nugget on their website says they do not allow Saturday check-ins. My date includes a Saturday checkin so Is that going to be a problem? Also is that the only hotel I can get if I chose a 4*? Any suggestions on where to start bidding. Prices on their site are Sat 139, sun-wed 89 and thursday 99. Any help would be appreciated.
thereuare Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 Is this in addition to or does it replace your Priceline Las Vegas thread for March? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Honestleeok Posted January 22, 2008 Author Report Posted January 22, 2008 This is a new post for a different vacation for this year. I am wanting to bid for Fremont Street for April 5-11.
thereuare Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 So you plan on returning to Las Vegas approximately one week after your check-out date of your previous Vegas stay? What did you end up booking for the other dates? Please follow-up that thread with whatever you've decided for that stay, then bump this thread and we'll comment on the above. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Honestleeok Posted January 22, 2008 Author Report Posted January 22, 2008 Sorry you are not understanding. That vacation in the previous thread you are referring to was in 2007. As I stated this vacation is for this year 2008.
thereuare Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 You are correct, i didn't notice that stay was from last year, but that thread also has no conclusion to it either... please follow-up in that thread whatever you ended up doing for that stay and then bump this thread and we'll have a look at the above. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Honestleeok Posted January 23, 2008 Author Report Posted January 23, 2008 Ok wrote the conclusion, have no idea what "bump this thread" means. Maybe now I can get some advice.
thereuare Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 My date includes a Saturday checkin so Is that going to be a problem?Possibly, but there are other websites you can use to book the Saturday (see our comments below re: splitting the bid)Also is that the only hotel I can get if I chose a 4*?As per the comments at the top of the Priceline Hotel List, the lists are not finite. This is the only known 4* hotel in this zone, but there could always be others, and/or a hotel already reported could be upgraded to this star level. I would doubt this to be the case in Downtown Las Vegas, but it's always a possibility.Any suggestions on where to start bidding. Prices on their site are Sat 139, sun-wed 89 and thursday 99.Is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option? If not, what is your maximum bid for this stay? If so, what is your maximum budget (excluding fees/taxes) for this stay? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
