metal2000 Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 I had been bidding daily for the last several weeks for a 4* in this area, looking specifically for Planet Hollywood (but knowing there were a couple other hotels I could get). I never went higher than $69 but was getting counter offers for anywhere between $89 and $109 after failed bids.I decided to try today for the $45 that a lot of people have been getting for different dates in January and February, and sure enough, I got it! We actually have 3 rooms booked from the 18th to 22nd (4 nights) at that rate, and a 4th room just from the 18th to the 21st (3 nights).I've stayed at the hotel twice before when it was The Aladdin (never for this cheap, mind you) and it's a very nice place (especially if you can get a good view of the Bellagio fountains). This time I'm bringing 9 people along with me, and at these rates, they're all very excited!
