Hotwire Hotel: 4* Toronto (Downtown West) Hilton

I bought a 4* in Toronto - one night stay - 1/19/08 to 1/20/08

Customer Favorite

Fitness

Pool

Restaurant

Business Center

High Speed Internet

According to the master Hotwire list on this site...this is the PERFECT mtch for the Sheraton Centre (the hotel I wanted!)

Instead, I ended up with the Hilton.

Someone needs to update the master Toronto list to include the Hilton as well as the Sheraton Centre as a Customer Favorite.

Not exactly... note that the Sheraton in the Hotwire Hotel List shows six amenitiy icons while the hotel you purchased above only shows five. Also, the hotel list shows the Hilton as having the five amenities above, so that would have been the best guess for the property you purchased.

I'll make it work. This hotel is only right around the corner from the Sheraton, but, some of the reviews I've read are awful.

The main point of my post is that the Hilton was listed as a "Customer Favorite" on Hotwire, but, not on the master list here.

I was suggesting that it be added to the master list that it is possible this hotel could be listed as such. I just wanted to help others on the board.

Customer Favorite designations come and go... not only week-to-week/month-to-month but we've also seen them appear/disappear from search-to-search, and therefore are secondary indicators for identifying hotels. The amenity combination is the primary tool that should be used.

Can you please also add a reply to this thread with the price paid so that we can add this information to the topic title.
