Triple B Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 Just booked.Website prices were 259 - 259 - 299 for both singular and when requesting three nights.First timer on Priceline (from Australia).Bid $150 - was countered with $188 so using the formula of offering 50% of the difference they accepted $169.Obviously I've paid top dollar, but the place looks amazing and obviously will still be very new, so I'm comfortable with it. The last night (15th) is the Friday of Presidents Weekend so it was always going to be tough to get any deal too amazing.BTW, I booked 2 rooms, I don't know if that makes a difference. As a first timer, I'd appreciate any feedback if maybe I have paid too much or if it's a good deal, if for no other reason than to not make a mistake next time.CheersBobPS. I'm almost sure I got to the Priceline site thru the links from this site, but as a first timer, I had windows open all over the place and have to admit I was nervous. Outlaying over AU$1200 with no refunds and not knowing what hotel is going to popup and wondering if you are doing everything right is nerve-wracking stuff :) If I stuffed up I apologise, but I'm sure I'll use the site again and will ensure I get the links right. :)
