Priceline Hotel: 4* Las Vegas (South Strip) Monte Carlo

Well, I am going to arrive at Las Vegas one day earlier and I need to book a room on Feb 09, 08.

I'll be staying at Planet Hollywood from Feb 10-13 and It would be nice to get the same hotel for Feb 09 too.

I bid on Priceline from $65 to $110 for Feb 09 but got rejected. :)

Now I am wondering what my chances are at getting Planet Hollywood if I continue to bid higher?

Any more specific way of getting that hotel?

You can see if it is offered thru HOTWIRE (based upon the amenities and star rating) or you can book direct thru the Sheraton website.

Was the "add a nite" feature offered on your original winning bid confirmation?

As far as your chances of receiving the same hotel increasing as you bid higher... i don't think you can increase your chances of receiving the same hotel at all thru priceline. If you're trying to target a specific property, HOTWIRE is often a better approach.

I am also trying to get the Planet Hollywood on Feb. 9th. If you get it...post it and let us know. If you have to.... Las Vegas Hilton and Casino off the strip is only $98 for that Saturday night which is cheap.

Well, I tried the "add a night" feature on Priceline and it got rejected.

Tried $120 then at $130 got Monte Carlo on Feb 09, 08.

Oh well, it's just across the street from Planet Hollywood.

Can you confirm, the Monte Carlo is still rated 4*, correct?
