Durrell Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 I have been unable to win a bid over the last week or so. I have tried all zones at 160 for 4* as well as 140 all zones at 3* Based on the posts on this board I am not sure why I can't find a hotel. Any suggestions are most welcomeDurrell

Durrell Posted January 15, 2008 Author Report Posted January 15, 2008 Do you any suggestions on what would make a good split? I tried 4/4/08 to 4/7/08 for a 4* upto 180 with no luckIs it worth trying to go for a 3* hotel?
Erica106 Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 I'm having the same problem, only for 4 consecutive nights and from 4/21-4/25 (my NYC Priceline thread). I've tried every 3-4 days for the last two weeks, going up to 250 with no luck..in all zones except downtown, and for 4 stars. I do not want to og lower than 3 stars, but splitting may be an option if it gets to mid february and I sitll haven't won.Sorry I can't be of much but I wanted you to know you're not the only one!
Durrell Posted January 15, 2008 Author Report Posted January 15, 2008 I have never had so much difficulty with getting a room, but perhaps it is because it is spring break. I have a friend that can get me a nice hotel for 230 per night, but I am not sure I want to pay the much...
Durrell Posted January 15, 2008 Author Report Posted January 15, 2008 I split the trip and was able to get the 4 Star Sheriton for $160 per night, still trying to get the 1st 3 nights
