Fredjedi Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 Hi, I'm going in Vegas june 29th to july 2th. I took Priceline last year 4 star and got Planet Hollywood for 80$ in late september. Should I wait or try the 45$ bid? I wanted to spend more (around 125-150/night)but 45$ is 45$... Planet Hollywood was cool but I wanted to go somewhere else..ThanksFred
thereuare Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding! It depends upon how much you want to "try something new" vs. "your budget". If you were successful landing a 4* hotel on the strip for $45 would you be satisfied... or would you wish you had spent more for something different? (assuming it was the Planet Hollywood which accepted your bid) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Fredjedi Posted January 16, 2008 Author Report Posted January 16, 2008 I would like to try a 5 star (my budget would be around 500$ for 3 nights from sunday to tuesday) but like I told, if the 45$ deal work, spending 150$ for 3 nights instead of 500$ is quite a difference... What price do you think that I can have a 5 star for my stay (june 29th to july 2nd)?I'll probably try the 5 star and if the bid doesn't work, I'll try to grab the PH at 45$...Can you tell me which hotels are 5 star and where where are they located ( I mean North, South, Convention etc).I know Bellagio, Ceasar's, Wynn, Venitian...Thank you for your time
thereuare Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 You can see the hotels already reported, and their corresponding zones, in the Priceline Hotel List.In addition to the hotel list, it is believed that the Bellagio and The Wynn are possibilities as well.If you would like to go the 5* route let us know your maximum bid per nite before taxes and fees. Fredjedi Posted January 16, 2008 Author Report Posted January 16, 2008 My max bid would be 125-150 per nigh for a five star.

Fredjedi Posted January 17, 2008 Author Report Posted January 17, 2008 Before bidding for a 5 *, I tried the 45$ bid in the South Strip and got PH... 157$ for 3 nights is an amazing price and gives money to spend the same amount of money somewhere else...Thank you very much for your help !!!!!!!!!!!!
