Hi. I am new to all this so I hope someone can help me!

My friend and I are planning a trip to New York and Philadelphia in February. We would like to stay in minimum 3* hotels and need 2 beds. We will be in Philadelphia from 12th February to 15th February 2008. The average price on Priceline says $155 per night. We don't mind what hotel we stay in as long as it is in the downtown category.

Can anyone suggest what we could bid? Should we bid now as it is only 4 weeks away? How can we get 2 beds in the room?

Thanks a lot for all your help in advance! :)

See your reply to your NYC thread regarding the restrictions you have when using priceline and what your options are, which include using HOTWIRE (ie- this all stems upon the "need 2 beds")

If you do end up booking direct, please note that we are an affiliate of the Hampton Inn so please use our link (the one in this post or in our support page) to begin your purchase.

If you don't need to book direct let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there.

Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

I was going to book through Hotelopia as the price was much much less than going direct. Do you have any links with them? I think that will be our best bet as it is the cheapest I have seen.

For the New York one we might have to take the risk of sharing just to keep costs down.

Thanks for the advice. :)
