Priceline Hotel: 3* Fresno (Airport) Holiday Inn Airport

A new low for the Holiday Inn at the Fresno Airport. I hope that they don't shove us into one of those "storage rooms". :)

Not much showing up on Hotwire--the only thing identifed is the Holiday Inn at $68. (No La Quinta and no Radison.)

Started with just Fresno 3* at $45, added Airport at $49, which is more then I like to increment, but this a last minute stay at 7:45pm, so the clock was ticking down, and on a dialup too.

The "Best Available" rate is $116 and AAA at $114. Interestingly, Entertainment.com is showing up for $62.

Can you clarify the date(s) of this stay... your post indicated a "last minute bid" but the dates currently in the topic title are well into the future.

No storage room this time...the room is actually very updated and in 3* quality. But the hallway is being repainted and recarpeted, which might explain the lower rate.

Other reviewers of this Holiday Inn have noted that it claims a 3* because of the services offered, but that the rooms were rather shaby. Since I don't use any of the 3* services and just want a nice place to "recover" from my time with my parents, I've tended to avoid the HI as overpriced. Now if I can get it for $49, this will be a new favorite. :)
