jimk Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 I'm looking for any star level hotel in toronto. I'm basically just looking to stay there as cheap as possible. I was looking into staying at a hostel, but I'm going with one other person and the hostels charge per person instead of by room. So I'm hoping to get something ~55$ and under if possible. It is also kind of important to me to stay either in downtown toronto or somewhere extremely easily accessible to public transportation that runs late. So I'm hoping to get this for as little money as possible and it really doesn't matter to me how the hotel is. Does anyone have any advice on how much/where I should start my bidding? Thanks.
thereuare Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 There is a typo in your dates above. In your last post you were looking for 2/1-2/3... are those the corect dates? Also, it's generally recommended not to go too low in star quality unless you really have to. Would you like to start with a 2.5* or 2* minimum and then lower if needed... or do you really not care and a 1* would be fine for your stay? Are you fine with any location in priceline's Downtown zone? son of pezcore Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 When I won the Bond Place for $47, that was my first bid. You might be able to get it even lower. The Best Western Primrose has been won recently within your budget. Another option is to try a 3* downtown as historically there have been wins at the Delta Chelsea for ~$50.
