February 29th - March 3rd

I think this weekend may be a Nascar Weekend in Vegas, but trip has already been planned and can't be avoided.

Wanted to know how low to bid to stay on a 4star on the Strip (again No Excalibur/Westin/anything off of the strip).

Was thinking to start around $120.00 per night (3 nights) for 4 rooms.

Any advantage of booking with 4/5 rooms at the same time?

Any help would be amazing. :)

At the 4* level the Westin is a possibility if you bid the North South Strip zone, and since you don't want that property, that eliminates bidding in this zone.

The Excalibur hasn't yet been reported in the South zone, and i would think it would be more of a 3* hotel than a 4*, but since it hasn't yet been reported to the board, nobody can say for certain (or if they even participate).

If you're willing to accept any 4* or better hotel (as determined by priceline) then we'll go ahead with a bidding strategy.

However, i would first see if there is anything available on HOTWIRE within your budget, as you can often ID the property beforehand and therefore try to target/avoid any of the properties you wish.

Let us know what you find and/or how you would like to proceed and we'll take it from there. If looking for help wit a HOTWIRE ID or if you'd like to bid on priceline, let us know how many rooms and how many people you'll be.

The Westin is in the South Strip Zone

Thanks for the correction.

I think $150 limit is going to be tough for these dates, but you can start as follows:

At the 4* level you have two re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding. (NOTE: Summerlin is NOT one of them)

Select 4* North Strip...

Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $100, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 4* North Strip and re-bid zone2...

Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $120.

Any questions feel free to ask.

If the above is rejected (likely) post back and we'll revise to try again in 24 hours.

Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
