jsa777 Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 Won 02/22-02/24 and then added 2 extra nights. I had been turned down when I bid $105 for 2/22-2/24. The regular rate is $249. Before I did this bid I bid up to $130 for 4* and 3* in South Beach, Coral Gables, Miami Beach, and Downtown and was unsuccessful. I also bid a 2.5* in South Beach and Miami Beach up to $130. I was leery of bidding a 2.5* in Coral Gables because of the possibility of gettng the Miracle Mile Hotel, but they are showing no availability on their website or Expedia for these dates, so I decided to go ahead and risk it. I am happy with this hotel. We stayed at the Grand Bay Miami located nearby last year and I like the area. That hotel is in a better location on Bayshore Drive, but their rates there are very high this year and I have not seen any recent wins for it. This hotel shows $7 parking on their website.
