EDen4597 Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 I am trying to book a room for FEB 29 - MAR 4 in Vegas. That is a NASCAR weekend, so cheap is relative. But I've found a fairly good deal on Hotwire for a 4* "Central Strip" hotel (Ave rate of $174). My knowledge of LV would suggest that to be Paris, Planet Hollywood or Caesar's, any of which I would be OK with. But is there anyway to know how Hotwire defines Central Strip. Also, in case it's helpful...Amenities listed are:CasinoFitness CenterPoolRestaurantBusiness CenterHi-Speed InternetSPAThey also show a TripAdvisor traveler rating for 3.5/5.0 based on 1240+ customer reviews. That looks like Planet Hollywood to me which has 1273 reviews on the TripAdvisor webiste and gets a 3.5. Is that a reliable tool to try to fort out which hotel isbeing offered. Thanks
thereuare Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding! The amenty combinations are the best tool to use in identifying properties. Comparing the above to the hotels reported in our Hotwire Hotel List this is a match for the Planet Hollywood so that would be our best guess. Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
